If I have one wish right now. It would be to get over with this cough and colds ever since Monday. My cough got worsen that I had to relentlessly bark like a crazy dog inside the training room. Like seriously? Cough and Colds... Leave me alone!!!
Our training for today went really well. Our generous trainer taught us the different ways in nailing our Berlitz English Assessment. She reminded us that using Idiomatic Expressions and Phrasal Verbs in a conversation is a sign that you're very comfortable with the language. We were given quite a number of examples for us to maybe use it in the future. We were also given the possible questions or tasks during Berlitz like describing your dream house or enumerating steps in baking a cake.
I also had my first Language Assessment today. It was conducted by one of the local trainers. I expected for a lengthy conversation but I only took it for like 5 minutes. Was I boring? or the trainer's just already tired talking since 6am (and I was interviewed around 1pm)? I don't know but I hope it's the latter. I can't be boring! haha Anyways, I was glad because I received good comments from him. However, I was given the advice to be very careful on my pronunciation. Yah, I admit. I mispronounced the word GROWTH. Like WTF is wrong with my tongue?! I already knew the right pronunciation but I keep on using the wrong one! Stubborn tongue this is! Well, at least now, I learned that I'll never use the word GROWTH during the exam proper! lol
And lastly, I'm done with my pre-employment requirements! Yeeeyyy!! Salary is good to go on the 15th! And tomorrow is going to be my first time to use the company's biometric fingerprint scanner for our log in and log out. Kinda' new to me. It's really amazing how technology works nowadays huh!
